     36-year-old Christopher Ray Keller has been arrested and faces multiple charges. He is currently being held with a four million dollar bond in Madison, Indiana. He has 69 charges against him and is facing 20 to 40 years in jail. He was charged with attempted murder and 68 abuse charges like beating, strangling, and choking his step-son.   

     Christopher was left at home with his 18-month-old step-son and two other children while the mom was at work. When the children’s mom came home, she noticed that the 18-month-old baby had severe bruising on his head and body, bite marks, and a large section of hair missing from his scalp. The baby was taken to the hospital. He had compression fractures to his spine and numerous bruises.

     Christopher was first charged with one count of battery to a child younger than 14 and one counts of neglect of a dependent causing serious bodily injury. Both were Level Three felonies. His bond was set at $100,000 cash.

     The investigation by the sheriff’s department continued. With new evidence, new chargers were added including an attempted murder charge and 66 other charges ranging from battery to neglect to contribute to the delinquency of a minor, and a new bond was set as $two million dollars 

      But Judge D.J didn’t give up. He later got a search warrant for  Christopher’s house where he found a memory card that documented 11 hours of the abuse. Later, Christopher got his final charges with 68 abuse charges and one attempted murder charges and his bond was then raised to four million dollars.
