Senior Spotlight: Lane Coles

Hunter Hadley and William Leach

The Senior Spotlight is a series of articles by The Rebellious Times highlighting the unique actions or personality of our seniors. Each week, the senior class picks seniors that they believe best fit the requirements of that week’s Senior Spotlight.

This week we have Lane Coles, younger sibling of alumni Madison Coles. Lane is involved in extracurricular activities such as Cross Country and Wrestling.  Lane has a very extroverted personality, he’s always the life of the party. One thing he enjoys is hanging out with his friends. He’s described by other students as a great supporter of everyone. I asked Lane a few questions to learn more about his life and what he plans on doing in the future so we can better know Lane.

What is your plan after high school?

“My plan is to attend college and get a degree in sports broadcasting.”

Do you encourage everyone to be involved in extracurricular activities? If so, why?

“Yes, I think it is a good way to keep yourself busy and get to know people.”

Are you excited for life after high school?

“Of course I am, I’m extremely excited for my future and where it takes me.”

We finish the interview and you find a lottery ticket that ends up winning 10 million, What would you do?

“I’d pay off all of my future college debt and probably buy a better car.”
