Ryan Newman’s fiery Crash

Nascar driver, Ryan Newman was leading the final lap during the Nascar’s Daytona 500 when his car started spinning out and flipping several times before stopping, Ryan Newman was pulled out of the car and was taken to the hospital. A statement from Roush Fenway Racing that he was being treated at Halifax Medical Center. When Newman got to the hospital his doctors said that Ryan Newman was in serious condition but it wasn’t life-threatening. The winner of the Daytona Denny Hamlin had no idea that the fiery crash was serious until he got to the victory circle. Ryan Newman is in his 19th season in the Nascar Cup Series. Ryan Newman is now out of the hospital resting at home with his family. During the crash, he had suffered a head injury. He did not suffer any broken bones. Newman is now advocating for a bit more safety to be looked at more following his crash.  After the crash, Newman said that he will return next year for a championship. He was the 2008 winner of the Daytona 500 and he holds 18 cup series wins.
